Walk-a-Thon Fundraiser Sees Goals Achieved

Last October over 170 Madill Middle School students stepped out of their morning routine to participate in a Walk-a-Thon at City Lake. The students were able to raise over $1,500. This money was set aside to purchase new goals (as shown above) to be put in at the William Ray Memorial Park. The Madill Schools, along with the Marshall County Health Department, J & I Manufacturing, and Oklahoma Steel and Wire are partnering with the City of Madill to get these new goals installed as soon as the new poles arrive.
