Bonnie Morine Konkel

Bonnie Morine Konkel, 99, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 4, 2019. She was born in Bixby, Okla., on May 31, 1919, to the late Glen Fisk and Geneva Spencer Fisk. Bonnie was raised in Tulsa, Okla.; and graduated from Butler High School in Wewoka, Okla. She married Fred Konkel on Aug. 21, 1936, in Wewoka, and he preceded her in death in June 1981. Bonnie later lived in Oilton, Okla.; before moving to Madill in 1974, where she has lived the rest of her life. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking, especially at Falls Creek Church Camp and was a great seamstress.

She is survived by her daughters: Sue Davis and husband, Dick, Bartlesville, Okla.; Debbie Konkel, Madill, Okla.; one granddaughter; Vickie Grantz and husband, Jim, Enid, Okla.; one great-granddaughter: Tara Fox, Plainview, Texas. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother: Roy Fisk; and two sisters: Lorraine Purser and Janie Young.

Graveside service was at 2 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2019, at the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery, Madill, Okla. Randy Kendrix officiated the service.
