Marshall County Program Offers HOPE and More

Oftentimes, people fall on hard times, and they need a small hand-up. An organization in Marshall County has programs to extend a helping hand to residents in need.

The Executive Director of HOPE for the Marshall County Food Pantry, Gwen Wilson, said the idea came to life over two years ago. “We started the food pantry a little over two years ago as we saw a rising need for it in our community.

At the same time we also placed numerous Blessing Boxes for those who needed help with food after hours.”

HFMC covers the whole of Marshall County and is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Residents need to bring a utility bill to prove residence in Marshall County.
