Benefit Set for April 20

There will be a benefit fundraiser for Patsy Sprouse (wife of David Sprouse), starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, in the Community Building at the William Ray Memorial Park. There will be a Chili Cook-off, a Cornhole Tournament, a Bake Sale, and a Concession Stand. The entry fee for the Cook-Off will be $20. To sample and judge the chili will be $5 per person. The Chili Cook-off will end at 2 p.m., and the winner will be announced. Prizes for the winners of the Cook-Off and Tournament are $100 and a plaque. The Bake Sale will go all day and have all kinds of goodies. So, if you don’t want to bake for Easter, come on out and buy your dessert and give to a good cause. The Concession Stand will run all day also, and have nachos, Frito chili pies, popcorn, pickles, and all kinds of assorted drinks for sale. Patsy is waiting for a kidney transplant. All monies raised will go toward medical expenses and medications that the insurance will not cover. Come on out for a day of fun and support a good cause. To sign up for the Chili Cook-Off and Tournament, call or text David at 580-677-0245, or Ashley Winchester at 580-795-4550.
