He took great shots on offense, and his shooting percentage reflects that.” Senior, Diego Flores, played in 23 games. He was 35.4 percent on 2-point shots; 27 percent on 3-point shots; 73.7 percent on free throws; and averaged 23 points a game. Weiberg said, “Diego was one of our more dynamic offensive players. He also improved immensely on the defensive end. Diego was also able to help other players get shots by his ability to penetrate pitch.” Sophomore, Miguel Duran, played in 23 games. He was 54.7 percent on 2-point shots; 27.3 percent on 3-point shots; 68 percent on free throws; and averaged 22 points a game. Weiberg said, “Miguel led our team in scoring and shot a very good percentage from the floor. He improved each week as a defender and rebounder, and by the end of the season we counted on him to be our ‘go to’ guy. Miguel is a good player, and I look forward to coaching him the next two years.”
