Jackie Lee Parrott

Jackie Lee Parrott, 88, of Ardmore, Okla., passed away peacefully Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at the Mercy Hospital in Ardmore. She was born on Dec. 10, 1929, in Stonewall, Okla., to the late Guy Buzbee and Mable Glover Buzbee. Jackie was raised in Stonewall where she graduated in 1946. She married Bill Parrott on April 19, 1949, in Gainesville, Texas, and he preceded her in death on June 9, 2003.

Jackie was a member of the Oakview Baptist Church in Oakland where she served as church secretary. She loved her family, church family, and was always glad to see her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Eddy Parrott and wife, Loretta; grandchildren: Amanda Himmelberg and husband, Neil; Terry Lemons and wife, Kim; Crystal Lemons; Candi Grant and husband, Eddie; Elizabeth Beavers and husband, Barney; step-grandchildren: Johnny Sullivan and wife, Nay; Kathy Ward and husband, Mark; great-grandchildren: Braden and Lexi McGehee; Shay, Deklan, and Trivan Himmelberg; Maddison and Daylin Grant; Harley and Braxton Beavers; Meagan Fowler and husband, Christopher; Shon and Kaylee Brickey; Noah Sullivan; and great-great-grandchildren: Shaylee Smith and Brooklyn Smith.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter: Brenda Gale Lamons; and one sister: Ruth Jean Buzbee.

Visitation was Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla., from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a family hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Services were Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at 10 a.m. at the Oakview Baptist Church, Oakland, Okla. Greg Idell officiated the service. Interment was at the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery, Madill, Okla.

Casket bearers were: Royce Bartee, Alden Combs, Jim Dugan, Dan Orr, Wilson Parker, and Stephen Wiese. Honorary bearers were: Bill Buck, Calvin Harkins, Gary Oliver, Shay Himmelberg, Braden McGehee, Daylin Grant, Braxton Beavers, Deklan Himmelberg, Trivan Himmelberg, and Shon Brickey.
