Wildcats Claim State Gold in 1600-Meter Relay

Four young men with one goal. After this past weekend, those men can officially say their goal was accomplished. At Madill High School, being 1 percent better than you were the day before, has been the motto for the 2018 track season. According to head coach Wayne Jaggars, the four men who make up the 1600-meter relay team for the Wildcats have put that motto to work everyday. “They have worked extremely hard to get to this point,” Jaggars said. “We are so proud of them.

 

They have shown what 1 percent better really means.” When the team, including seniors Costa Chambers and Trevor Goff, junior Dylan Parnacher, and sophomore Asa Robertson, finished in Second Place (behind Plainview) at the Regional Track Meet they were not only dissatisfied, but a little disappointed.
