Kingston Golf Named Academic State Champions

The Kingston Redskins’ Golf Team recently competed in the State Golf Tournament in Oklahoma City where they received the Academic State Champion Award. The team has a cumalative GPA of 3.87. While there, The Redskins placed Fourth Overall as a team with junior Matthew O’Steen finishing in Fifth Place Individually with a score of 213. RJ Weeks and Jesse Rouse finished the tournament with a score of 223. Trey Keatts shot a 248, and Zac Meeks finished with a 252.

The team combined for a score of 901 on 54 holes. Head coach Clayton Hodges said, “Zac Meeks is our lone senior, and we are really going to miss him.
