Fisherman, lawman, joker, prankster, your best friend, and most of all, one big heart. No man stands taller than when he stoops to help a child catch a fish – a Tom Miller trademark. Nobody did it better or as You are reading in the newspaper that I am dead. Do not believe a word of it, for I have just started a new adventure.I am now with my Savior. I am now in my real home. The body that I have no more use for is dead and gone. If you want to shed tears, make them tears of joy. I am rejoicing in heaven. Remember that I am with my Lord! Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, was a time of great reunion. I am once again with and all my loved ones that have gone before me, and will be together for all eternity. a loving family and friends.I was born in St. George, Utah on Nov. 14, 1940, and grew High School. I worked at the Lake Texoma State Lodge and attended Southeastern College working on a business degree. I changed course and went to the University of Minnesota to Juvenile Officer School and study juvenile law. Then I went to the University of Nevada in Reno, Nev., the college of Juvenile Justice. Went to work with Judge Brown and of Youth Services.I retired from Youth Services and bought a business in Madill, Okla., Tom’s Burger Hut. I sold the business and went to work for Sheriff Robert Denny and Bill Noland as their administrator of the new detention center, retiring in 1993.Survivors include his son: Tom Miller, Jr. and wife, Cindy; -daughters: Emily and Angela Miller; great-grandchildren: Tegan Miller; Payton White; niece: Shaun Clare Miller; and nephew: Donald P. Miller.The true wealth of a nation lies not in its gold or silver, but in its learning, wisdom, and the uprightness of its sons and daughters. Memorial donations may be made to the Children Shelter of Ardmore and or the Salvation Army.A memorial service will be held on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church located at 126 K Street NW Ardmore, Okla.Cremation with Care provided by Harvey-Douglas Fu-neral Home and Crematory where condolences may be left for the family at
