Confessions of a Single Mom: Time for Bed

After reading this some may look at me as a totally crazy mother, but you know what, I do what works for me.

Isn’t that all we can do? Do whatever works for you and your family.

When I was pregnant with my son everyone would give me advice on what to do and what not to do. They would talk to me about certain things, and we would discuss different areas of parenting.

The one thing that I was never informed about was bedtimes.

I always thought that when my son got old enough for school or day care that it would be easy to put him to bed and therefore a breeze to wake up in the morning.

When I was younger, my parents never really gave me a set bedtime. When it got late, and I got tired, I would go to my bed and slowly drift off to sleep.
