Ralph Edward Walker

Ralph Edward Walker, 75, of Elk City, Okla., was born on Feb. 16, 1942, in Madill, Okla., to John Edward and Georgia Pauline (Pearce) Walker. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Jan. 2, 2018, in Elk City, Okla. He graduated high school from Hobbs, N.M. Ralph worked in the oil field, starting as a roughneck and retiring as a company man. After his retirement from the oil field, he became a truck driver. He enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends at the coffee shop. He was a member of the Pioneer Church of Christ in Elk City, Okla. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Martin-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel in Elk City, Okla. Dale Royal officiated. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City, Okla. Services were entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Okla. Cherishing his memory are his daughter: Melynda Hutton and her husband, Shawn, of Elk City, Okla.; son: Ralyn Walker of Elk City, Okla.; four grandchildren: Kyle Hutton and his companion, Kayla Twyman; Kaleb Hutton; Kole Hutton, and his wife, Emma; Chance Walker and his wife, Alexis, all of Elk City, Okla.
