Violet Flynn

Violet Flynn, a resident of Kingston, Okla., joined her beloved Lord and Savior, in Madill, Okla. on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at the age of 76. She was born on April 1, 1941, in Graysville, Mo., to Wilbert and Sarah (McGhy) Williams. Violet married her sweetheart Keith in Graysville, Mo., on Nov. 16, 1956. Violet dedicated 15 years of her life to lovingly caring for others as a home health aide for Marshall County Home Health. She was a member of the Faith Harvest Church in Kingston, Okla. Violet cherished her family and looked forward to any time they were able to spend together. She liked to sew, work at church, mow her yard, and especially caring for her beautiful flower beds. Mrs. Flynn is survived by her husband: Keith Flynn, of the home; daughters: Sharon Boswell and husband, Daniel, of Kingston, Okla.; Sandy Montes and husband, Troy, of Kingston, Okla.; grandchildren: Candy Phillips and fiancé, Steve Wingfield, of Bennington, Okla.; Shawn Summit, of Kingston, Okla.; Ryan Summit, of Calera, Okla.; Jamie Summit and wife, Miranda, of Durant, Okla.; T.J. Montes and wife, Jennifer, of Whitesboro, Texas; Trisha Montes, of Kingston, Okla.; Shawna Blackwell and husband, Trey, of Madill, Okla.; Autumn Donathon and husband, Jeremiah, of Kingston, Okla.; numerous great-grandchildren; with one great-great grandchild on the way; sisters: Anna Mae Partin and husband, Bernie, of Udell, Iowa; Nancy Fowler, of Madill, Okla.; Lesa Williams, of Kirksville, Mo.; and one brother: Leon Williams, of Marceline, Mo. Mrs. Flynn was preceded in death by her parents: Wilbert and Sarah (McGhy) Williams; son: Ronnie Lee Flynn; daughter: baby at birth; brothers: Clarence Williams, Leroy Williams, and Jimmy Williams. Family hour was from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla. A chapel service was at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel. Bro. Eddie Nabors officiated.
