Carrie Waynette Scott

Carrie Waynette Scott, 41, of Madill, Okla., passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017, surrounded by her family. Carrie was born to Carmen Scott on Sept. 29, 1975, in Ardmore, Okla. She grew up in Madill and Ardmore, spending the last of her years in Madill. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and taking pictures of the ones she loved at any get-together. Carrie also loved spoiling her children, nieces, and nephews. Her hobbies included fishing and spending time at the lake. She was an expert at tripping on flat surfaces, and she always worked hard to keep her brothers in line. She never let a day go by without letting her loved ones know how she felt about them. She is survived by her daughters: Brittany Coffman; Savana Rainer; stepsons: Randall Rainer; Justyn Rainer; granddaughters: Brynlee; Paige; mother: Carmen Scott; brothers: Marc Scott; Christopher Scott; Marshall Scott; William Parnell Garrison; Dillon Kyle Garrison; Lawrence Caleb Garrison; nieces: Jadyn Scott; Lylla Ann Scott; nephew: Cliff Scott; special friends: Angie Richards and Tonya Perry; as well as many other family members whom she loved very much. Preceded in death by her baby boy, Colton Rainer; sister: Adrian Mychl Garrison; grandmother: Charlotta Ward Self; and grandfather, Clifford Self. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 3401 NW 63rd St., #200, Oklahoma City, OK 73116, and Kidney Foundation, 14440 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, FL 33613. Services were Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Okla. Joe Patterson and David Wade officiated the service. Interment was at the Oakland Cemetery, Oakland, Oklahoma. Casket bearers were: Parnell Garrison, Marc Scott, Caleb Garrison, Christopher Scott, Randall Rainer, and Justyn Rainer. Honorary bearers were: Dillion Garrison, Robert Sedgwick, Johnny Wade, David Wade, and Christina Herwick. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Madill, Okla.
