Ryan Christian Ortloff

Ryan Christian Ortloff, 17, of Madill, Okla., passed away Monday, June 5, 2017. He was born on Aug. 21, 1999, in Ardmore, Okla., to Steven Alan Ortloff and Amy Risenhoover Ortloff. Ryan was raised in Madill where he attended Madill schools. Ryan made everyone around him happier. He always had a smile. He lit up the room when he walked in, and commanded attention by his charm and personality that shined. Ryan loved being outside and spending time with his cows. He was at ease with the animals, and they gave him peace. He enjoyed working on vehicles, especially jeeps & 4x4s. If it was big, he wanted to make it bigger. He learned to water ski at an early age and was competitive on learning new tricks. Ryan ate popcorn on a daily basis and required Dr. Pepper stocked in the fridge. Ryan had his own style of fashion, which changed frequently. He knew what he liked and how he wanted it. As an entrepreneur, he was always thinking up a plan on how to make money and accomplish amazing things. Something simple would have been too easy for him. Ryan enjoyed making people laugh and came up with funny phrases that all of his family would frequently end up using. After all, it’s “simple physics.” Ryan was a bright light in all of our lives. He changed us for the better, and we are blessed to have had him for the short time he was here. He will be missed. He is survived by his parents: Steven and Amy Ortloff; brother: Jeffrey Ortloff; sister: Emily Ortloff; grandparents: Terry and Nancy Risenhoover; Alan and Pam Ortloff; great-grandmother: Wauneta Ortloff; uncles and aunts: Peter and Dorinda Risenhoover; Jonathan and Janna Risenhoover; David and Dannielle Risenhoover; Jack and Inger Risenhoover; Paul and Carol Risenhoover; Brad and Elyse Ortloff; David and Rita Ortloff; and 15 first cousins.
