Town of Kingston Property Now Tobacco Free, Municipal Judge Contract Amended

All Town of Kingston property has now been deemed tobacco free for 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The ordinance was signed and approved at the May 9 Town of Kingston Council meeting.

The ordinance was updated to include all Town of Kingston property. All council members approved the agenda item.

The Council then convened into executive session (closed meeting) to discuss any possible changes and the renewal of the municipal judge contract. Once the council reconvened into open session, council member Rob Kendrick made a motion to table the renewal of the municipal judge contract with Paule Smith. The motion to table was seconded by Gary Cluck and passed with a 5-0 vote.
