A man who identified himself as the “Pro-life spiderman” was arrested and taken into custody after climbing the Devon Tower in Oklahoma City. On June 14, reports flooded into the Oklahoma City Police Department about a man scaling the tallest building in town. The Devon Tower is 50 floors tall, approximately 844 feet.
Once police arrived on scene, they witnessed Maison Des Champs scaling the Devon Tower. Officers were able to take Champs into custody without incident and even get a little insight on why he was doing such a crazy stunt. He claimed he was doing it to protest abortion.
After Champs reached the top of the building, officers were waiting there to arrest him. He climbed the building without any safety gear. All he had was chalk on his hands.
